Abstract: A battery according to one embodiment of the present invention may comprise: an electrode assembly; a battery housing configured to accommodate the electrode assembly through an opening formed on one side thereof; a cap configured to cover the opening of the battery housing; and a gasket which is interposed between the cap and an inner surface of the battery housing and is at least partially compressed, and which has, on a surface thereof facing the cap, a protrusion part protruding towards the cap, based on a state thereof before compression.
