Abstract: A coil component 10 according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a first flat coil 11, a second flat coil 12 superposed over the first flat coil 11 with a gap therebetween, and a spacer member 20 including a third layer 23 filling the gap. In the coil component 10, the volume resistance of the third layer 23 with respect to a current that flows in the superposition direction of the first flat coil 11 and the second flat coil 12 differs depending on the position of the third layer 23 on an orthogonal coordinate system CS, which is defined in a plane orthogonal to the superposition direction of the first flat coil 11 and the second flat coil 12.
