Welded Joint

Abstract: [Problem] To further improve the corrosion resistance of a weld overlap portion of a welded joint obtained by lap fillet welding that employs galvanized steel plates as starting materials. [Solution] The present invention relates to a welded joint including a first steel plate and a second steel plate that are connected to a welding bead portion having a longitudinal direction in an extension direction in a plan view, wherein: a joint gap is present in a weld overlap portion; surfaces of each of the first steel plate and the second steel plate on at least the side thereof opposite to an obverse surface include base iron and a plated layer on the base iron; and in a cross-sectional view taken in a direction perpendicular to the extension direction, a distance, in a direction perpendicular to the extension direction and a normal line direction with respect to the obverse surface of the second steel plate, between an end portion, on the side farthest from the welding bead portion, of a region in which the thickness of the plated layer is less than 1 µm, said region being closest to the welding bead portion, and a distal end portion of the weld overlap portion is at most equal to 1000 µm.
