Method For Manufacturing Lithium Secondary Battery

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a lithium secondary battery, the method comprising the steps of: preparing a battery cell including a cathode, an anode, and an electrolyte, the cathode containing a lithium-excess manganese-based oxide in which the content of manganese among all metals excluding lithium exceeds 50 mol% and the ratio of the number of moles of lithium to the number of moles of all metals excluding lithium, Li/Me, exceeds 1; and activating the battery cell by charging and discharging at least once, wherein in the activating step, the battery cell is charged in a constant current mode at SOC 60 to SOC 100 and then charged in a constant voltage mode, and the cut-off current is 0.06 C to 0.5 C during the charging in a constant voltage mode.
