Abstract: The present invention relates to a lithium secondary battery comprising a negative electrode, a positive electrode, a separator, and a non-aqueous electrolyte, wherein the negative electrode includes a negative electrode active material, the negative electrode active material includes a silicon-based active material, the average particle diameter (D50) of the silicon-based active material is 1 µm to 20 µm, the non-aqueous electrolyte includes a lithium salt, an organic solvent, and an additive, the organic solvent includes fluoroethylene carbonate and diethyl carbonate in a volume ratio of 5:95 to 25:75, and the additive includes a compound represented by a specific formula.
