Operation Method For Steelmaking Furnace

Abstract: According to the present invention, an operation method for a steelmaking furnace involves using a steelmaking furnace that has a top-bottom combined blowing function to perform dephosphorization blowing, intermediate slag removal from a throat, and decarbonization blowing in the given order. The operation method for a steelmaking furnace is characterized in that: at the dephosphorization blowing, top-bottom combined blowing is performed under the condition that a charged basicity that is the basicity (mass ratio of CaO/SiO2) of slag calculated from the charged amounts and components of a principal starting material and an auxiliary starting material is 0.8–2.1; top-blowing of oxygen for the dephosphorization blowing is stopped when a slag height ratio that is the ratio of a slag height to the height of a freeboard inside the steelmaking furnace during the dephosphorization blowing is 0.7–1.0; and after the top-blowing of oxygen has been stopped, the molten iron is stirred by a bottom-blown gas for 1–10 minutes, and then the steelmaking furnace is tilted to remove slag into a slag pot as the intermediate slag removal from a throat.
