Lithium Secondary Battery Comprising Heat Dissipating Current Collector

Abstract: A lithium secondary battery according to the present invention comprises: an electrode assembly; and a battery case for accommodating the electrode assembly, wherein: the electrode assembly includes a plurality of cathodes, a plurality of anodes and a plurality of separators, the cathodes, the separators and the anodes being stacked sequentially; the plurality of cathodes and/or the plurality of anodes includes a dissipating current collector and an electrode active material layer formed on at least one surface of the dissipating current collector; the dissipating current collector includes a dissipating layer, a polymer layer arranged on the dissipating layer and a metal layer arranged on the polymer layer; and the dissipating layer of the dissipating current collector includes a passage extending to the outside of the battery case so as to discharge heat inside the battery.
