Abstract: Provided is a plated steel sheet characterized by comprising a base steel sheet and a plating layer that is formed on the surface of the base steel sheet wherein the plating layer has a prescribed chemical composition the depth in the sheet thickness direction from the interface between the base steel sheet and the plating layer where the area fraction of pearlite is 0 20% is 3 100 ??m the area fraction of pearlite having a circle equivalent diameter of 5 ??m or more is 0 30% at the depth where the area fraction of pearlite is 0 20% and the adhesion amount of the plating layer is 40 g/m2 or more per surface.
