Server And Method By Which Same Server Estimates Distance To Empty

Abstract: A server, according to one embodiment disclosed in the present document, comprises: a communication unit that receives, from a target vehicle, vehicle data including a current state of charge (SOC) of a battery of the target vehicle, an end SOC that is an end point for calculating a distance to empty, a state of health (SOH) of the battery, and driving data; and a controller that classifies valid data including information that the target vehicle has driven more than a predetermined distance from the driving data, calculates an average energy consumption efficiency of the target vehicle on the basis of the valid data, and calculates a distance to empty of the target vehicle on the basis of the current SOC, the end SOC, the SOH, and the average energy consumption efficiency.
