Steel Sheet And Plated Steel Sheet

Abstract: The present invention addresses the problem of providing a steel sheet and a plated steel sheet having a high LME resistance. This steel sheet and plated steel sheet are characterized: by having prescribed chemical components; in that the depth, in the depth direction from the surface of the steel sheets, at which the C concentration as measured by GDS is no more than 0.01% is at least 3 µm; in that the thickness, in the depth direction from the surface of the steel sheets, of a layer that has a cementite area ratio no greater than 10% is at least 8 µm; and in that the surface roughness of the steel sheets is, as an arithmetic mean roughness Ra, greater than 3.0 µm.
