Hot Rolled Steel Sheet

Abstract: This hot-rolled steel sheet has a prescribed chemical composition. In the orientation distribution function of the aggregate structure in the surface layer region, the maximum value A in the range of F=0-60° and f1=50-90° in the f2=45° section is no higher than 6.0, the maximum value B in the range of F=120-180° and f1=50-90° in the f2=45° section is no higher than 6.0, |FA-35°| is no higher than 10°, and |FB-145°| is no higher than 10°. In the metal structure at a position at 1/4 depth from the surface in the sheet thickness direction, the area ratio of a region in which the GAM value is greater than 0.6° is 50% or higher, and the total of the area ratio of a region in which the GAM value is greater than 3.0° and the area ratio of retained austenite is less than 15%.
