Surface Treated Steel Sheet

Abstract: [Problem] To provide a surface-treated steel sheet in which the adhesion of a surface-treating film can be ensured, and both of the ensuring of corrosion resistance and the improvement in glossiness can be achieved. [Solution] A surface-treated steel sheet according to the present invention comprises: a galvannealed steel sheet including a steel sheet that serves as a base material and a galvannealed layer that is provided on the steel sheet; and a surface-treating layer provided on the galvannealed steel sheet. The surface-treating layer contains a base resin and SiO2-coated Al flakes that are Al flakes of which the surfaces are coated by a SiO2 layer. The average thickness of the SiO2 layer is 10-100 nm. The average particle size R of the SiO2-coated Al flakes is 1.00-30.00 µm. The ratio (R/t) of the average particle size to the average thickness t of the SiO2-coated Al flakes is 10 or greater. The ratio of coverage of the surface of the galvannealed steel sheet by the SiO2-coated Al flakes is 20% or greater.
