Method For Manufacturing Unfired Basic Brick
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for manufacturing an unfired basic brick having excellent corrosion resistance. In the present invention, water is added to a refractory starting material blend which contains a total of 0.2-30 mass% inclusive of magnesia having a particle size of less than 75 µm and/or magnesia chrome having a particle size of less than 75 µm, and 0.3-2.5 mass% inclusive of silica having a particle size of less than 75 µm. The resultant mixture is kneaded, press-molded and then subjected to a heat treatment at a temperature of 60-1000°C inclusive.
