Grain Oriented Electrical Steel Sheet

Abstract: Provide is a grain-oriented electrical steel sheet which achieves sufficient flux density and iron loss characteristics, while being capable of reducing magnetostriction. A grain-oriented electrical steel sheet according to an aspect of the present invention contains, in mass%, 2.5-4.5% of Si, 0.01-1.00% of Mn, 0-0.010% of N, 0-0.010% of C, 0-0.010% of sol. Al, a total of 0-0.010% of one or more elements selected from the group consisting of S and Se, and more than 0% but not more than 0.010% of Ti, with the balance being made up of Fe and impurities. With respect to the surface of this grain-oriented electrical steel sheet, if the crystal orientation of each one of a plurality of measurement points that are arranged in a grid at a pitch of 2 mm in a first direction and a second direction, the direction being perpendicular to each other, is measured by an X-ray diffraction method, and the arithmetic mean value of the misorientations of all adjacent points from the first adjacent point to the fifth adjacent point at each measurement point is defined as the KAM value at the measurement point, the arithmetic mean value KAMave of the KAM values of the measurement points is 8.0° or less, and the flux density B8 is 1.910 T or more.
