Tire Having A Tread That Is Formed In Full Or In Part From A Composite Material Of Unitary Molded Construction
Abstract: The present invention relates to a tire (10) having a tread (15), said tread comprising a main composite material (30) which is of unitary molded construction and which comprises a thermoplastic polymer matrix and a textile reinforcement assembly. The present invention also relates to a method for manufacturing such a tire, comprising the thermocompression of a multilayer assembly comprising a hot-melt textile part and a non-hot-melt textile part.
