Lithium Secondary Battery

Abstract: The present invention relates to a lithium secondary battery comprising: a cathode; an anode; a separator arranged beween the cathode and the anode; and a non-aqueous electrolyte, wherein the cathode comprises a cathode active material, the cathode active material comprises 50 mol% or more of Mn among total metals except for lithium, and an overlithium manganese-rich oxide in which a molar ratio of lithium to transition metal is greater than 1, and the non-aqueous electrolyte comprises a lithium salt and an organic solvent, wherein the organic solvent comprises a first organic solvent and a second organic solvent, wherein the first organic solvent comprises ethylene carbonate, and the second organic solvent comprises diethyl carbonate and propyl propionate.
