Abstract: This method for manufacturing a grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet has: an oil film removal step for removing an oil film adhered to the surface of a cold-rolled steel sheet during rolling; a laser beaming step for beaming, after the oil film removal step, a laser beam onto, and forming a groove on, the surface of the cold-rolled steel sheet from which the oil film has been removed; and a decarburization annealing step for performing, after the laser beaming step, decarburization and annealing on the cold-rolled steel sheet on which the groove has been formed.
