Purification Of Electrolytic Oxygen

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for purifying an oxygen stream polluted by water, hydrogen and potentially nitrogen, said method comprising bringing the oxygen stream to be purified into contact with a zeolitic adsorbent material comprising at least one metal, in zero-valent metal form, or in oxidized form or in reduced form, and recovering purified oxygen streams. The invention also relates to the use of a zeolitic adsorbent material comprising at least one transition metal for the purification of oxygen, and to the use in industrial processes of oxygen thus purified.
