Abstract: With the present invention, the discharge energy of a lithium iron phosphate ion battery is increased. This method for manufacturing a lithium iron phosphate ion battery involves: a step of forming a positive electrode containing lithium, iron, phosphorus, and amorphous carbon; a step of forming a negative electrode containing graphite and amorphous carbon; and a step of putting the positive electrode, the negative electrode, and a predetermined electrolyte in a predetermined container and sealing the container. At least one of the amorphous carbon of the positive electrode and the amorphous carbon of the negative electrode has a carbon nanotube or a fullerene of 10 wt.% or less.
