Abstract: This computer system connects to: an execution environment system for providing an instance; and an autoscaling system for controlling scaling of the instance. In the execution environment system, a plurality of applications that provide the same service are executed using an instance. The computer system: acquires an execution log for processing of a subject application; uses the execution log to generate a load pattern; sets a threshold value of determinant metrics for controlling execution of scaling on the basis of the load pattern; executes, a plurality of times, processing of the subject application and simulation processing for simulating scaling; and determines the threshold value of the determinant metrics on the basis of a result of the simulation processing.
