Metal Pipe For Oil Wells

Abstract: The present invention provides a metal pipe for oil wells, the metal pipe being provided with a Zn-Ni alloy plating layer that has high hardness. A metal pipe for oil wells according to the present disclosure is provided with a pipe main body that comprises a pin and a box, and is additionally provided with a Zn-Ni alloy plating layer that is formed on a pin contact surface or a box contact surface. The Ni content in the Zn-Ni alloy plating layer is 14.8% by mass to 25.0% by mass, and the bulk density of the Zn-Ni alloy plating layer is 7.00 g/cm3 or more.
