Grain Oriented Electrical Steel Sheet And Method For Forming Insulating Coating Film

Abstract: This grain-oriented electrical steel sheet has a base steel sheet and an insulating coating film that is formed on the surface of the base steel sheet. The insulating coating film has: an intermediate layer that is formed on the base steel sheet side and contains a crystalline metal phosphate salt; and a tension coating layer that is formed on the surface side of the insulating coating film. In a cross-section of the intermediate layer along the thickness direction, when the interface between the base steel sheet and the intermediate layer is observed at a magnification of 5,000 times with a scanning electronic microscope, the ratio of the interface length L to the observation image width W is 100.0% to 120.0%.
