Abstract: In this pharmaceutical composition for treating and/or preventing cancer, a substance that reduces expression of CAPRIN-1 protein on the surfaces of cancer cell membranes, specifically a substance that reduces the amount of expression of CAPRIN-1 protein on the surfaces of cancer cell membranes, or a substance that binds to CAPRIN-1 protein on the surfaces of cancer cell membranes can be used as an active ingredient.
