Abstract: A blank (20, 20A) for hot stamping is provided with a plurality of steel sheets. The plurality of steel sheets are arranged and joined with one another so as to form a ring shape when seen in a plan view of the blank (20, 20A). The plurality of steel sheets include a first steel sheet (21) and a second steel sheet (22). The first steel sheet (21) has the lowest sheet thickness (tmin) among the plurality of steel sheets. The second steel sheet (22) has a sheet thickness which is greater than the sheet thickness (tmin) of the first steel sheet (21). The first steel sheet (21) is configured in a manner such that the emissivity of at least one surface of the two surfaces thereof is greater than the emissivity of the two surfaces of the second steel sheet (22).
