Abstract: A battery according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes: an electrode assembly having a structure in which a first electrode and a second electrode are 5 wound around a winding axis along with a separator interposed therebetween to define a core and an outer circumference, the first electrode comprising an active material portion coated with an active material and a first uncoated portion not coated with an active material along a winding direction, at least a part of the first uncoated portion being used as an electrode tab by itself; a battery housing in which the electrode assembly is accommodated 10 through an opening portion formed at a side thereof; a current collector including a tab coupling portion coupled to the first uncoated portion and a housing coupling portion extending from the tab coupling portion and electrically coupled to an inner surface of the battery housing; and a cap covering the opening portion.
