The anti-theft apparatus (100) comprises a circular clamp (104) comprising a first portion (210) having a cavity and is configured to mount the anti-theft apparatus (100) at an opening port of the fuel storage tank (102). The anti-theft apparatus (100) further comprises an elongated body (106) positioned along the cavity. The elongated body (106) comprises a first set of perforations (200) fabricated at a wall portion (202) of the elongated body (106), and a plurality of fins (108) sequentially positioned within the elongated body (106). Each of the plurality of fins (108) is fabricated with a second set perforations (204). The plurality of fins (108) are configured to obstruct a passage of a siphon tube. <>
