Abstract: SEAT HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT DEVICE Disclosed is a seat height adjustment device (102) for a vehicle (104). The seat height adjustment device (102) includes a slider hinge bracket (109), a pin holder (110), various springs (112a, 112b, and 112c), a guide bracket (114), a knob (116), and a step bolt (118). The slider hinge bracket (109) is configured to adjust the height of a seat assembly (108). The pin holder (110) includes various pins (110a, 110b, and 110c). The springs (112a, 112b, and 112c) are operable to be positioned on each of the pins (110a, 110b, and 110c) of the pin holder (110) to create a pin holder assembly (120). The guide bracket (114) is configured to house the pin holder assembly (120). The knob (116) is operable to adjust the position of the slider hinge bracket (109) relative to the guide bracket (114). The knob (116) is mounted on one of the pins (112b) of the pin holder (110) from the backside of the guide bracket (114). The step bolt (118) is positioned within the guide bracket (114), and configured to limit a linear motion of the pin holder (110) after reaching an extreme position.

Specification

I/We claim:
1. A seat height adjustment device (102) for a vehicle (104), comprising:
a slider hinge bracket (109) configured to adjust the height of a seat
assembly (108);
a pin holder (110) comprising a plurality of pins (110a, 110b, and 110c);
a plurality of springs (112a, 112b, and 112c) operable to be positioned on
each of the pins (110a, 110b, and 110c) of the pin holder (110) to create a pin
holder assembly (120);
a guide bracket (114) configured to house the pin holder assembly (120);
a knob (116) operable to adjust the position of the slider hinge bracket
(109) relative to the guide bracket (114), wherein the knob (116) is mounted on
one of the pins (112b) of the pin holder (110) from a backside of the guide bracket
(114); and
a step bolt (118) positioned within the guide bracket (114), configured to
limit a linear motion of the pin holder (110) after reaching an extreme position.
2. The seat height adjustment device (102) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the slider
hinge bracket (109) is mounted on the pins (110a, 110b, and 110c) of the pin holder (110)
from a front side of the guide bracket (114) to adjust the seat assembly (108) to a default
height.
3. The seat height adjustment device (102) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the knob
(116) is accessible from the backside of the guide bracket (114) and operable to control
the position of the pin holder assembly (120) in the slider hinge bracket (109).
4. The seat height adjustment device (102) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the step
bolt (118), when completely inserted into the guide bracket (114), restricts further linear
movement of the slider hinge bracket (109).
5. A method for adjusting the seat height of a two-wheeler vehicle, the method
comprising:
positioning the seat at an initial position by aligning a plurality of pins of a pin
holder within a plurality of first-row holes of a slider hinge bracket;
pulling a knob outward, thereby moving the plurality of pins of the pin h
