Abstract: ABSTRACT MULTI-SPEED TRANSMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM FOR AN ELECTRIC VEHICLE (EV) A multi-speed transmission control system (100) for an electric vehicle is disclosed. The multi-speed transmission control system (100) comprises one or more sensors configured to detect a first set of input signals. The multi-speed transmission control system (100) further comprises one or more processors (102) configured to receive the detected first set of input signals, and a second set of input signals from a first control unit (104) and a second control unit (106); analyse the first set of input signals and the second set of input signals; determine an optimal gear selection; transmit a shift command to a shift motor (108) based at least on the determined optimal gear selection; control a shift actuator (110) to engage the optimal gear based at least on the transmitted shift command; and transmit a torque control command to adjust a traction motor torque in coordination with the optimal gear engagement. <>

FIELD OF THE DISCLOSURE
[0001] This invention generally relates to a field of automobiles and, in particular, relates to a multi-speed transmission control system for electric vehicles (EVs) and a method for optimising gear shifting based on real-time EVs parameters.

[0003] Electric vehicles (EVs) have gained significant attention as a sustainable alternative to internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicle , Claims:WE CLAIM:
1. A multi-speed transmission control system (100) for an electric vehicle (EV) comprising:
one or more sensors configured to detect a first set of input signals; and
one or more processors (102) communicatively coupled to the one or more sensors, and wherein the one or more processors (102) are configured to:
receive the detected first set of input signals, and a second set of input signals from a first control unit (104) and a second control unit (106);
analyse the received first set of input signals and the received second set of input signals;
determine an optimal gear selection based at least on the analysed first set of input signals and the analysed second set of input signals;
transmit a shift command to a shift motor (108) based at least on the determined optimal gear selection;
control a shift actuator (110) to engage the optimal gear based at least on the transmitted shift command; and
transmit a torque control command to adjust a traction motor torque in coordination with the optimal gea
