a cover body (106) having a first side (102) and a second side (104), wherein the cover body (106) comprises:

a cavity portion (110) at the second side (104) of the cover body (106);
a grill (112) mounted over the cavity portion (110) of the cover body (106);
a frame (114) positioned around a periphery of the cover body (106), wherein the frame (114) being compressible; and
a plurality of mounting points (116) fabricated at each ends of the cover body (106), configured to mount the protective cover apparatus (100) over the ventilation opening, such that the frame (114) compresses between the cover body (106) and an outer periphery of the ventilation opening of the vehicle to dismiss entry of liquid and solid matter through the ventilation opening of the vehicle.
