System For Improving Fuel Efficiency And Emissions For A Vehicle

Abstract: SYSTEM FOR IMPROVING FUEL EFFICIENCY AND EMISSIONS FOR A VEHICLE ABSTRACT A system (100) for improving fuel efficiency and emissions for a vehicle, characterized in that at least one processor (106) configured to receive the one or more parameters and emissions value of the vehicle from an electronic control unit (ECU) (104) of the vehicle, analyse the one or more parameters to classify one or more duty cycles associated with one or more driving conditions, predict engine requirements and dynamically map one or more operational settings of the one or more operations, calibrate at least one fuel-saving setting of the one or more settings, compare the emissions value with a predefined threshold range, calibrate the at least one fuel-saving setting or to at least one emission-friendly setting of the one or more settings, and send the at least one calibrated setting to the ECU (104) to modify the one or more operations, thereby improving fuel efficiency and emissions for the vehicle. <>

Description:SYSTEM FOR IMPROVING FUEL EFFICIENCY AND EMISSIONS FOR A VEHICLE

FIELD OF THE DISCLOSURE
[0001] This invention generally relates to a field of vehicle engine control systems and in particular, to a system for improving fuel efficiency and emissions for a vehicle.

BACKGROUND
[0002] The subject matter discussed in the background section should not be assumed to be prior art merely as a result of its mention in the background section. Similarly, a problem mentioned in the background section or associated with the subject matter of the background section should not be assumed to have been previously recognized in the prior art. The subject matter in the background section merely represents different approaches, which in and of themselves may also correspond to implementations of the claimed technology.
[0003] The efficiency and environmental impact of vehicle engines, particularly in light, medium-duty trucks, buses, and Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV), are significantly influenced by their ability to adapt , Claims:We Claim:
1. A system (100) for improving fuel efficiency and emissions for a vehicle comprising:
a sensor module (102) integrated within the vehicle, configured to monitor one or more parameters associated with the vehicle and emissions value of the vehicle;
an electronic control unit (ECU) (104) communicatively coupled with the sensor module (102), wherein the ECU (104) is configured to control one or more operations of the vehicle, based at least on the one or more parameters;
wherein the system (100), characterized in that:
at least one processor (106) communicatively coupled with the ECU (104), wherein the at least one processor (106) is configured to:
receive the one or more parameters and emissions value of the vehicle from the ECU (104),
analyse the one or more parameters to classify one or more duty cycles associated with one or more driving conditions,
predict engine requirements and dynamically map one or more operational settings of the one or more operations, based at least on the one or more du
