The RUPD (100) comprises a truss-reinforced RUPD bar (102) configured to distribute impact forces and prevent excessive deformation upon collision of the vehicle. The RUPD (100) further comprises a plurality of gussets (110) integrated to a plurality of rib supporting plates (120) and positioned within a truss plate (114). The RUPD (100) further comprises a set of reinforcement plates (112) strategically positioned within the truss-reinforced RUPD bar (102).
