þ COMPLETE
The following specification particularly describes the invention and the manner in which it is to be performed.
This application is an addition of Indian Application 881/MUM/2014 which has filling date of March 18, 2014.
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an agricultural boom sprayer. More particularly it relates to an EV self propelled agriculture heighted boom sprayers for spraying pesticides or chemicals over crop fields.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The term pesticide covers a wide range of compounds including insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, rodenticides, molluscicides, nematicides and plant growth regulators. Seed treatments are usually achieved by effective dose-transfer to a crop. Pesticides are applied to the seed prior to planting in the form of a seed treatment or coating to protect against soil-borne risks to the plant. Additionally, these coatings can provide supplemental chemicals and nutrients designed to encourage growth.
The manual spraying apparatus is available in which spraying is achieved by portable spray pump. But there are certain disadvantages associated with these sprayers such as it is highly time consuming which leads to infection in crop and affect the productivity of the crop.
CN2422059 relates to a piston for a knapsack hand-operated sprayer. A piston for the sprayer comprises a fluid passageway, the piston, a piston barrel, a piston rod, a back flow hole and a piston cap. The problem associated with the manual knapsack sprayer is that it is time consuming and laborious work.
CN2083851 relates to a knapsack high pressure sprayer, which is an agricultural machine and is mainly composed of a solution barrel and a high pressure assembly which is installed on the solution barrel, wherein, a spraying rod and a spraying head are connected with the high pressure assembly through a water outlet pipe. One disadvantage associated with this invention is that a high pressure sprayer is required to be operated by more than two persons. Also, it has the disadvantages of inconvenient operation and large labor intensity.
These sprayers further require manual efforts for pumping. Therefore user gets tired after a little use of the sprayer and does not cover full crop uniformly. Also, both the hands of the user remains engaged and therefore the user can not use the sprayer for a long time. When person spraying manually, he has a chance to get affected by pesticides or chemicals due to his position that of closer to field crops.
Hence, there was a need to have a self propelled agriculture heighted boom sprayer that solves aforesaid problems and to have quite efficient engines and simple electronics for carrying out spraying adjustments and repairs. Also fuel used then was diesel which was economical and easily available.
However, with the advent of modern day awareness to sustainable practices in all spheres of industrial wellbeing, diesel run machines/ engines pose a threat to not only to the environment but also to the livelihood of agriculture practitioners owing to delay in availability and rise in the prices of fuel. The gradual shifting of all machineries from fossil fuels to electronic source of energy is observed as a path breaking sustainable business practice as well as a solution to modern day industrialization for developing as well as developed countries.
Today with widespread awareness and adoption of sustainable practices a paradigm shift towards electronic power source in not just transportation but also in other modes of technology driven industries is observed quite evidently. Spraying in agriculture is an important task which is essential to protect the produce but traditionally is observed as primarily labour intensive, physically demanding, time consuming and often indiscriminate use of pesticides is a significant issue to crop produce land and even human health. Thus, electric boom sprayer minimizes the human interaction from immediate areas of spray, managing the proper amount of sprays enabling it to spray judicially and economically even for small scale farmers.
Hence, there is a need to have a self propelled agriculture heighted boom sprayer that solves aforesaid problems and to have quite efficient EV and simple electronics for carrying out spraying adjustments and repairs.
