Abstract: ABSTRACT CHARGER ASSEMBLIES FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLES A charger assembly 100 for an electric vehicle (EV) includes a heatsink 102 enclosing internal components. The heatsink 102 comprises a base 102a and at least one sidewall 102b perpendicular to the base 102a, with cooling fins 5 106a on at least one sidewall and cooling fins 106b on the base 102a. A two-part casing 104, consisting of a first housing part 104a and a second housing part 104b, encloses the heatsink 102. The first housing part 104a includes at least one inlet slot 108 aligned with the cooling fins 106a, while the second housing part 104b features at least one outlet slot 110 near the cooling fins 10 106b. A centrifugal fan 112 at the base 102a drives airflow from the inlet slot 108 along the cooling fins 106a and 106b, exiting through the outlet slot 110. This configuration ensures efficient heat dissipation and dust management, enhancing the charger’s performance and longevity in various environments.
