Modular Charging Stations For Docking Multiple Charging Units

Abstract: ABSTRACT MODULAR CHARGING STATIONS FOR DOCKING MULTIPLE CHARGING UNITS Examples embodiments of a modular charging station (100, 150, 200, 5 300) are described. In an embodiment, the modular charging station (100, 150, 200, 300) comprises of a docking hub (102, 152, 202) having a plurality of ports (104) configured thereon. The charging station further includes a plurality of receiving members (108, 154, 204) to slidably receive multiple charging units (110, 156, 206) for being connected to the plurality of ports 10 (104). Additionally, the modular charging station (100, 150, 200, 300) includes an output member (116, 162, 212) to deliver aggregated power output to an energy storing device. The aggregated power output is a combination of power outputs from the multiple charging units connected to the ports. This design results in a higher power output therefore, providing 15 a reduced charging time and faster charging speed. <>
