The present disclosure relates to a tool interchange locking assembly and particularly, relates to a tool interchange locking assembly for locking a tool to a robotic arm.

BACKGROUND
In the known art, a tool, such as a grinding tool or a polishing tooling or a cleaning tool, is attached to a robotic arm. The tool attached to the robotic arm maneuvers on a work piece, so that the tool performs a designated task, such as cleaning, buffing, grinding, broaching, etc., on the work piece. During changing of the tool attached to the robotic arm, the tool is detached, and another tool is reattached to the robotic arm.
A tool interchange locking assembly is generally used for locking a tool to a robotic. The said locking assembly which is known in the art include engaging parts defined on the robotic arm as well as the tool. The engaging part is defined on the robotic arm, and it engages with the engaging part defined on the tool for attaching the tool to the robotic arm. However, the locking assemb , Claims:WE CLAIM:
1. A tool interchange locking assembly (100) for locking a tool (T) to a robotic arm, the locking assembly (100), comprising:
a fixed part (110) adapted to couple with the robotic arm, the fixed part (110) comprising:
an engaging disc (115) having a plurality of engaging slots (110-A); and
a lock (130) slidably disposed on the engaging disc (115); and
a tool engaging part (120) adapted to selectively engage with the fixed part (110), the tool engaging part (120) comprising:
a tool post (120-C) adapted to receive the tool (T); and
a plurality of engaging protrusions (120-A) formed around the tool post (120-C) and adapted to insert into the plurality of engaging slots (110-A),
