Abstract: ABSTRACT A LASER DEVICE A laser device (200) comprises a laser source (210) and a controller 5 (208). The laser source (210) generates a laser beam. The controller (208) directs the laser beam on a surface (204) of a cylindrical cell to be cleaned by removal of contaminant present on the surface (204). The controller (208) is configured to control a path of the laser beam on the surface (204) of the cylindrical cell, such that the laser beam traverses a spiral path 10 comprising a plurality of coplanar circles of varying diameters. The spiral path has a start point (212) outside the surface of the cylindrical cell. <>
