A Brain Implant For A Subject

Abstract: A BRAIN IMPLANT FOR A SUBJECT A brain implant (100) for a subject is disclosed. The brain implant (100) includes a plate (101) positionable within a head portion of the subject. The plate includes at least one major surface (102). Further, a plurality of conical shanks (103) extends from one of the at least one major surface (102) up to a pre-determined length. Furthermore, one or more electrodes (104) are provisioned on an inclined surface of each of the plurality of conical shanks (103) at varying depths for gathering neural signals from the head portion of the subject. A multi-site brain implant (200) for a subject is also disclosed for simultaneously gathering and stimulating neural signals across multiple sites. The multi-site brain implant (200) includes a flexible PCB (201) which further includes a main body (202) and a plurality of branches (203) extending from the main body (202) towards multiple sites of the brain of the subject.
