Abstract: The present invention is an epilepsy seizure prediction and its remediation is a way of predicting the pattern of seizures in epilepsy patients. The present invention calculates the time of next occurrence of seizure by collecting data from the patients about the day and time of occurrence and various triggers and by converting sun clock to lunar clock to map lunar phases Shukla paksha (waxing moon)/Krishna Paksha (waning moon cycles) and tithis (lunar days) to seizure patterns. And in the remediation process the said pattern is matched with the triggers of the patients and medicated customised ghee, herbal capsules and powder compounded at Poornima day are given to the patients hours or minutes before the onset of seizure.
Description:The Ayurvedic treatment of epilepsy is multidimensional, including pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic approaches as well as disease and host-specific measures. According to Ayurveda, it is important to focus on disease modification, comorbidity management, and assurance rather than just the management of seizures while treating epilepsy. Ayurveda acknowledges the importance of nonpharmacologic interventions like psychotherapy as an integral part of Apasmara management. Typical management of epilepsy involves 3 types of treatments i.e., daiva vyapashraya chikitsa, yukti vyapashraya chikitsa and satvavajaya chikitsa. Chikitsa refers to treatment.
Daiva vyapashraya chikitsa is a faith therapy that involves divine interventions, which are less commonly used nowadays. Satvavajaya chikitsa is used to control the mind using yoga, pranayama, spiritual knowledge, philosophy, and behavioral therapies aimed at harmonizing the functioning of the different mental attributes like intellect, memory, fortitude, etc. Yukti vyapashraya chikitsa is the main treatment, which involves therapy based on rational thinking and medicinal usage. Every patient receives an individualized type of treatment based on the dominance of dosha concerning his body and the disease.
Ayurveda’s focus on individualized, cyclical healing intersects with lunar rhythms. Epilepsy management might leverage Shukla Paksha for proactive treatments and Krishna Paksha for reflection and stabilization. Spiritual narratives also suggest that aligning health practices with Shukla Paksha’s "path of light" fosters lasting well-being.
In one embodiment of the present invention, Figure 1 illustrates the possible patterns of seizure occurrence based on the different patterns of Shukla paksha and Krishna paksha. Each combination is given a colour for identification. The different colours given are orange, white, pink, green, yellow, brown, purple and blue. There are 15 days in Shukla Paksha (waxing moon) and 15 days in Krishna Paksha (waning moon). By collecting the data from the patient about the triggers of their seizures, date and time, and external factors such as temperature, food, light, sound, drugs after exposed to any of which they are getting the seizures are noted down. Using lunar clock as reference, mapping to the innovation dates, Paksha, and their block out patterns are assessed and specific days were identified and based on the days assigned with one colour or multiple colours based on the data. A patient who is assigned with orange gets seizure on only the first day and 13th day of Shukla paksha. A patient who is assigned with pink colour gets seizures on 6 days (3 days in Shukla Paksha and 3 days in Krishna Paksha). A patient who is assigned with white colour gets seizures on 4th day of Shukla paksha and 7 days (1st, 4th, 5th, 7th, 10th, 11th, 13th) in krishna paksha.A person who gets assigned with brown colour gets seizure only on 7th and 11th days of Shukla paksha and does not get seizures in krishna paksha. A patient who gets assigned with yellow colour gets seizures on 6th, 9th, days of Shukla paksha and 6th and 9th days of krishna paksha. A patient with green colour gets seizures only on 5th and 15th day of Shukla paksha but not on krishna paksha days. A person who is assigned with purple colour gets seizures on 12th and 14th days of both Shukla paksha and krishna paksha. A patient who gets assigned with blue colour gets seizures on 10th day of Shukla paksha and 15th day of krishna paksha. If the patients are assigned with multiple colours say for example brown and yellow then he or she will get seizures on 6th, 9th, 13th days of Shukla paksha and 6th and 9th days of krishna paksha and also on 7th and 11th days of Shukla paksha. On these particular days, or before the particular day before 24 hours or 12 hours the patients will be instructed to take customized medicated ghee, churna, Kashaya, and capsules compounded and prepared. To avoid the reoccurrence of the attacks the patient is advised to follow the treatment for 9 to 12 months, which depends on each patient and their severity of the condition.
In another embodiment of the present invention, Figure 2 illustrates the possible patterns of the epilepsy for a 26-year-old female with a history of epilepsy for over 8 years. She was started with the treatment on September 19th 2024. All the details regarding the triggers of her epilepsy were collected. And using the lunar clock as reference and mapping to the innovation dates and paksha, her blackout patterns were assessed, and specific tithis (days) were identified and a customized format was made for her. On these particular days, she was instructed to take customized medicated ghee, churna, Kashaya, and capsules compounded and prepared.
In another embodiment of the present invention, Figure 3 shows the Bio-energy Validation GDV analysis of the 26-year-old female to validate the area and energy of all critical organs and if any imbalance is found in the body which needs to be focussed. This analysis was done after a few weeks of continuous treatment. The data showed that the lung energy remain higher. The correlation of epilepsy patients becoming normal and healthy with pending or residual treatment is identified using Sensors and results are validated. , Claims:An epilepsy seizure prediction and its remediation comprising
