Vision Based Parking Occupation Detecting With Embedded And Ai

Abstract: Efficient parking management is a critical challenge in modern urban environments, often leading to congestion, wasted time, and increased environmental pollution. This project proposes an AI-d riven solution that utilizes computer vision technologies to detect parking space occupancy in real-time. By analyzing video feeds from CCTV or loT-enabled cameras, the system identifies vacant and occupied spaces with high accuracy, eliminating the need for traditional sensor-based methods. The proposed solution integrates advanced machine learning algorithms to ensure adaptability across diverse parking environments, including open lots, multi-level garages, and urban streets. The system offers real-time updates via user-friendly dashboards or mobile applications, enhancing user convenience and reducing the time spent searching for parking. Furthermore, it provides analytical insights to parking lot managers for better resource utilization and operational efficiency. In addition to improving user experience and operational workflows, the project contributes to sustainability by reducing unnecessary vehicle idling and emissions.
