A Process For Preparing S Aryl Carbamothioates By Nano Catalyst Comprising L Cysteine Carbon Quantum Dots

Abstract: Abstract A process for preparing S-aryl carbamothioates by nano-catalyst comprising L-cysteine carbon quantum dots The present invention discloses a nano-catalyst comprising L-cysteine carbon quantum dots (CQDs) and method for preparing thereof. Said nano-catalyst comprising L-cysteine carbon quantum dots facilitates the Newman Kwart rearrangement (NKR) in a more efficient way with retention of efficacy in subsequent cycles of the reaction. The present invention also discloses a photo-mediated process for preparing S-aryl carbamothioates. Said process of the present invention is applicable for electronically diverse substrates under ambient conditions without any substrate decomposition or side product formation.
