Abstract: ABSTRACT A PROCESS FOR PREPARING AN ACTIVE MATERIAL AND IMPLEMENTATION THEREOF The present disclosure provides a process for preparing an active material, the 5 process comprising: pulse mixing a mixture comprising a silicon compound/ composite and a carbon based anode active material to obtain the diluted anode active material, wherein the pulse mixing comprises a) a first pulse mixing at a rotational speed in the range of 2500 to 3500 rpm for a time period in the range of 7 to 20 minutes, followed by, b) a second pulse mixing at a speed in the range 10 of 1000 to 1500 rpm for a time period in the range of 7 to 20 minutes, and the first pulse mixing and the second pulse mixing are sequentially repeated at least twice. The present disclosure further provides an active material obtained by the process and an anode comprising the active material obtained by the process. 15
