Abstract: BATTERY SWAPPING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AN ELECTRIC VEHICLE A battery docking assembly (100) for a vehicle comprises a docking box (102), a control unit (106), a busbar assembly (108), one or more docking connectors (110), and a battery box (114). The docking box (102) is positioned within a storage space (104) of the vehicle (200). The control unit (106) is positioned within the docking box (102). The busbar assembly (108) is positioned above the control unit (106). The docking connectors (110) are positioned above the busbar assembly (108), wherein each docking connector (110) is formed to removably connect a detachable battery (112), facilitate battery swapping, and to enable recharging. The battery box (114) contains the detachable battery (112), positioned and docked over the docking connectors (110), wherein the battery (112) is swappable with a new battery based on use (Refer FIGS. 1A-2).
