There is, therefore, a need in the art, for: an improved wiper for a locomotory device, which overcomes the aforementioned drawbacks and shortcomings.
The disclosed improved wiper for a locomotory device offers at least the following advantages: is simple and compact; cost effective; improved serviceability; efficient packaging; and/or reduced risk of damage.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
An improved wiper, for a locomotory device, is disclosed. Said wiper is disposed on (or mounted on, or installed on, or positioned on, or associated with) an at least a transparent member. In an embodiment, said at least one transparent member is a windshield glass.
Said wiper broadly comprises: a first structural member, a second structural member, a first vertical member, a second vertical member, a third vertical member, an at least a sleeve, an at least an isolating member, a plurality of wiper spindles, a plurality of dampener rubbers, a first supporting member, a second supporting member, a third supporting member; a plurality of wiper arms; a torque generating member; and a plurality of connecting members.
Said first structural member is disposed on (or mounted on, or installed on, or positioned on, or associated with) the at least one transparent member, with (or through) said at least one isolating member. Said configuration prevents load transfer from the first structural member to the at least one transparent member.
In another embodiment, said at least one isolating member is an isolation pad.
Said first structural member is connected to (or attached to, or coupled to, or associated with) said second structural member, with (or through) said first vertical member, said second vertical member, and said third vertical member. Said first structural member broadly comprising: an at least a slot. Said at least one slot accommodates (or houses, or holds) said at least one sleeve. Said at least one sleeve is configured to bear load.
In an embodiment, said first structural member and said second structural member are configured as tubes.
In an embodiment, said first structural member and said second structural member are configured as a semi-elliptical configuration and a horizontal configuration, respectively.
In an embodiment, said first vertical member, said second vertical member, and said third vertical member are configured as an extended longitudinal support tubes.
Said torque generating member is connected to (or coupled to, or attached to, or associated with) said second structural member, with (or through) said first supporting member. Said torque generating member is connected to (or coupled to, or attached to, or associated with) said plurality of connecting members.
Said plurality of connecting members is connected to (or coupled to, or attached to, or associated with) said first structural member, through said second supporting member and said third supporting member. Each connecting member, among said plurality of connecting members is connected to (or coupled to, or attached to, or associated with) a respective wiper spindle, among said plurality of wiper spindles. Each wiper spindle, among said plurality of wiper spindles is connected to (or coupled to, or attached to, or associated with) a respective wiper arm, among said plurality of wiper arms.
In an embodiment, said torque generating member is a motor and said plurality of connecting members is a wiper linkage.
In an embodiment, said first supporting member is a supporting bracket, and said second supporting member and said third supporting member are supporting interfaces.
Said plurality of connecting members transmits rotational motion of the torque generating member, across the plurality of wiper arms, with (or through) the plurality of wiper spindles, facilitating back and forth sweeping motion of the plurality of wiper arms.
Said at least one transparent member broadly comprises two slots. Each slot, among the two slots, accommodates (or houses, or holds) a respective dampener rubber, among the plurality of dampener rubbers. Said plurality of dampener rubbers protects the at least one transparent member from the plurality of wiper spindles load and vibrations.
In an embodiment, said wiper comprises: about two dampener rubbers, about two connecting members, about two wiper spindles, and about two wiper arms.
The disclosed improved wiper for a locomotory device offers at least the following advantages: is simple and compact; cost effective; improved serviceability; efficient packaging; and/or reduced risk of damage.
