System And Method For Rfid E Toll Collection System

Abstract: ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION The patent disclosure covers System and Method for RFID E-Toll Collection System. This patent disclosure covers Novel System and method of using ATCS is an Automated Toll Collection System used for collecting taxes automatically. In this patent we do the identification with the help of radio frequency Identifier. The vehicle will hold an RFID Tag and the RFID Tag reader will be placed at the toll collection point. When the vehicle passed through that point the toll amount will automatically be deducted from the users account and a notification will be sent to the users email address saying that they have passed that particular toll and a certain amount has been deducted from their account. Automatic Toll Collection systems have really helped a lot in reducing the heavy congestion caused in the metropolitan cities of today. It is one of the easiest methods used to organize the heavy flow of traffic.

Specification

4. DESCRIPTION
The patent disclosure covers System and Method for RFID E-Toll Collection System.
The line of vehicles and the traffic due to the slow process of manual toll collection proves to be a real bottle
neck in highways these days. The proposed system is a better version of the already existing FASTag
system with additional features that make travel easier for users as well as the toll booth operators.
In this proposed system we're going to collect the toll amount automatically using the unique number. By
using this unique ID, the toll station able to get all the details about that vehicle. Whenever the vehicle
crosses the toll This system will automatically debit the amount from user's Vehicle account and send an
acknowledgement details through the E-Mail.
Detailed Description of the Project
Working Principle
The proposed system primarily uses RFID tags to read and automatically deduct the toll amount from the
unique account number assigned to each individual car based on their registration numbers. The users can
top up money to that account from time to time and will also be sent a reminder or notification when there is
a toll approaching and there are insufficient funds in that account based on the GPS location of that
respective vehicle. The algorithm used .for this process is neural network, i.e mimicking the process done by
a human manually. Thus resulting in less wait time and manual labour ..
Simulation of Proposed Work
This module consists of the code, working and demo of the proposed patent. The implementation of this
patent is written in python and embedded Cis used in Arduino programming. The demo includes a sample
email and the result. With the evolving technology this method is another way to improve human user .
experience and reduce traffic and wait time at toll plazas.

CLAIMS
1/We Claim,
1. The patent disclosure covers System and Method RFID E-Toll Collection System as described above
in Fig 1 to 4.
2. Although the existing FASTag model is a faster way but it is still a manual process and long toll
queues. The proposed model completely eliminates the need for a prominent toll booth.
3. The patent can be developed to a large scale and effectively replace the conventional toll booths for
overhead poles with the RF-10 readers that read the tags in the vehicles passing by thus minimizing
the bottle neck of long lines and wait time at toll booths.
4. The patent can also be implemented to affix toll booths in the form of overhead road signs with the
readers.
