Cell Culture Composition Containing Microalgae Extract And Use Thereof
Abstract: The present invention relates to a cell culture composition containing an extract from microalgae of the Thraustochytrid family. It has been found that when muscle cells are cultured in a medium containing an extract derived from the biomass of microalgae belonging to the Thraustochytrid family according to the present disclosure, the proliferative capacity of muscle cells is enhanced. Therefore, the cell culture composition including the microalgae extract can be used as a substitute for fetal bovine serum among the components of cell culture media.
