Abstract: The present invention addresses the problem of providing a compound and pharmaceutical composition that possesses inhibitory activity against the drug efflux pumps of drug-resistant bacteria and, when used in combination with another drug, can restore the antibacterial activity of said other drug. The present invention provides a compound represented by general formula [1] (the symbols are as defined in the description) or a salt thereof and a pharmaceutical compound comprising these.
