Abstract: This vehicle control system comprises: a detection unit (11) that detects the operation of a vehicle by a driver; a surroundings sensing unit (12) that senses the conditions in the surroundings of the vehicle; and a control unit (13) that includes a travel control unit (130) that controls the travel of the vehicle in accordance with the operation of the vehicle, a driving assistance determination unit (131) that determines the necessity of driving assistance for the driver in accordance with the conditions in the surroundings of the vehicle, and a driving assistance execution unit (132) that causes driving assistance to be executed in accordance with the determination results of the driving assistance determination unit. The control unit (13) includes a driving assistance adjustment unit (134) that records and analyzes the execution status of the driving assistance execution unit (132), and adjusts the degree of driving assistance on the basis of the execution status analysis results.
