Battery Degradation Inspection Device And Method For Operating Same

Abstract: A battery degradation inspection device, according to one embodiment disclosed in the present document, may comprise: a data acquisition unit that acquires first data related to a first open circuit voltage (OCV) and a first state of health (SOH) of a battery at a first time point, and second data related to a second OCV and a second SOH of the battery at a second time point following the first time point; a capacity identification unit that identifies the theoretical capacity of a full cell at a reference time point in reference data related to the battery; and a calculation unit that calculates OCV variation between the first OCV and the second OCV, and SOH variation between the first SOH and the second SOH, on the basis of the theoretical capacity, and calculates anode side reactions (ASR) and cathode side reactions (CSR) at the second time point on the basis of the OCV variation and the SOH variation.
