Abstract: The present invention improves the removal performance of a semipermeable membrane if the removal performance is lower than the desired level or has been deteriorated. A processing method for a semipermeable membrane, which is provided with a separation function layer that contains a polyamide, according to the present invention comprises: (a) a step in which a multifunctional amine is bonded to the polyamide; and (b) a step in which at least one of a multifunctional carboxylic acid and a multifunctional acid halide is bonded to the polyamide.
