Abstract: A gas generation amount prediction device according to an embodiment disclosed in the present document may comprise: an acquisition unit which identifies measurement data on the voltage, current, and temperature of a battery; a calculation unit which calculates a cathode side reaction (CSR) and an anode side reaction (ASR) on the basis of the measurement data; and a prediction unit which predicts the amount of gas generated in the battery, on the basis of the CSR and the ASR.
